What We Do

Together for justices

Justice is at the core of Doroty Center’s work. We believe that accountability is essential not only for addressing past violations, but also for preventing future harm. Our efforts focus on documenting credible evidence that can support legal processes at national and international levels. We collect, verify, and preserve testimonies and material evidence in line with ethical and legal standards. This includes working closely with survivors and witnesses in a manner that prioritizes their safety, dignity, and consent. Documentation is conducted carefully to ensure that information remains reliable, secure, and usable in future legal contexts. Doroty Center collaborates with legal experts, human rights organizations, and accountability mechanisms to contribute to ongoing and future justice processes. While justice may take time, building a strong and accurate evidentiary record is a critical step toward ensuring that violations are not forgotten and that those responsible may one day be held accountable. Our commitment is long-term: to support a future where justice is not only possible, but grounded in truth and evidence.

Documentation

We collect and verify incident information in a safe, survivor-centered way to preserve credible evidence.

Legal Advocacy

We support accountability pathways by strengthening case documentation, legal analysis, and rights-based advocacy.

Research & Policy

We produce research that identifies patterns, risks, and solutions to inform policy and protection responses.

Transitional Justice

We support truth-telling and memory initiatives that honor victims and help communities pursue healing and justice.
